Impact report! 🙌🏻 During a student’s time at The Amazima School, we offer life-skills programs every Tuesday after school. Students can choose to learn many life skills alongside their education: gardening, arts and crafts (crocheting), sewing, hospitality, cooking, etc.
Marvin was in the hospitality and cooking life-skills group for a few years, and he learned how to cook burgers, chop veggies, etc. He has since been hired by a local restaurant and the manager is so pleased that he has invited Marvin to work at his sister restaurant in Kampala if ever he is interested. Marvin has worked between breaks to make the necessary money to pay for his school requirements. He learned all of these skills at Amazima and used them to help support him in his education. Praising God today for Marvin and for your support!
