Paul didn’t just share theology—he shared facts. Jesus appeared to Peter, to the Twelve, to more than 500 people at once, to James, and then to Paul himself. These were real people who could verify what they saw. And many of them were willing to suffer, and even die, because they believed so strongly in what they had witnessed.
Think about it: would that many people be willing to die for something they made up? Would the disciples have gone from fearful and hiding to bold and fearless if Jesus hadn’t truly risen?
Even beyond Scripture, historical sources from the early Roman world confirm that Christians believed Jesus rose from the dead—and that belief radically changed how they lived.
Alternative explanations—like Jesus didn’t really die, or the disciples stole the body—fall apart when examined closely. But the resurrection stands firm, supported by eyewitnesses, transformed lives, and a movement that changed the world.
