Every one of us is born into a story that’s far bigger than ourselves—one that’s been unfolding since the beginning of time. It’s not just any story; it’s the story of a Kingdom. From the first page of Scripture, we see God establishing His rule, pursuing His people, and working out a plan to restore all things through His Son, Jesus.
This Kingdom isn’t far off or someday—it’s at hand. Right now, God is actively inviting us to step into His redemptive story. But there’s also a real enemy who opposes God’s rule and wants to pull us away from His love and truth. That’s why it’s so important to understand the Bible not just as a collection of rules or ancient history, but as one unified story that points to Jesus—the King—and reveals God’s plan for His people.
As The Bible Project puts it, “The Bible is a unified story that leads to Jesus.” And when you realize that, everything changes.
